Earlier this year, during the Associazione Italiana di Metallurgia Titanium Study Day in Milan, our Purchase Manager Ing. Giulia Baglieri shared insights on titanium supply dynamics and the geopolitical challenges affecting the aerospace industry.
We are proud to share that TIG has been invited to contribute to the
Delphi Study within the
CASCADE project (Criticality Analysis for Supply Chain Availability and Dependency Evaluation), a national research initiative funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research.
Led in collaboration with Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna,Politecnico di Milano, Università degli Studi di Bergamo, Università degli Studi dell'Aquila, and the Confindustria Study Center, CASCADE focuses on analyzing risks, dependencies, and resilience strategies related to the supply of critical raw materials.
That previous contribution has sparked a virtuous circle, opening new opportunities for TIG to bring its perspective into broader discussions.
The discussion of CASCADE’s results took place at Confindustria’s headquarters in Rome, with both Francesca Conti and Giulia Baglieri actively participating and bringing TIG’s voice to the table.
This recognition reflects the value of Giulia's intervention at AIM and confirms TIG's role as an active voice in shaping the debate on industrial resilience and supply security.
The CASCADE project runs until 2025 and aims to provide entrepreneurs, managers, and policymakers with valuable insights for understanding and tackling the challenges of critical raw materials.

We are deeply grateful for this opportunity to grow through dialogue and exchange!
